P.J. Jones, who made his Sprint Cup debut in a six race stint for Harry Melling back in 1993, will attempt to make his first start since Watkins Glen in 2008 when he ran for Hall of Fame Racing this weekend in a second car for Robby Gordon Motorsports.

The No. 4 entry of RGM (owner's No. 204) was added after the initial entry list and much like the No. 7 will be a Jim Beam/Menard's sponsored Toyota. Should rain wash out qualifying Jones will be one of the four teams making the long trip back home along with the No. 02 of Brandon Ash, the No. 27 of Tom Hubert, and the No. 08 of Boris Said.

Jones recorded his career best finish in 2002 with a fourth place at Watkins Glen driving the No. 14 Conseco Pontiac for A.J. Foyt Enterprises. Jones has made numerous starts spread across NASCAR's top three divisions as well as in both Indy Racing League and the former Champ Car Series.

Career Sprint Cup statistics: 10 seasons, 26 starts, one top five, two top 10's, two laps led, Avg. start 33.0, Avg. finish 30.0, 18 DNQ's.
